Amazing food and must visit if you around Bear mountain or Harimann state prk. Service was great and ambiance was okay. Pistachios ice cream is a must try at end.

I was headed to the local high school for my daughter's cheer competition. I wanted a good lunch beforehand. I found Nooshe Jan on Yelp. I walked into a modern, bright, and clean restaurant and was greeted by a young gentleman. (Nicholas) Having looked at the menu online, I pretty much knew what I wanted to try. I ordered Ghormeh Sabzi (vegetarian) and a side beef koobideh skewer. The Ghormeh Sabzi was herbaceous and vibrant, fresh and hearty for a vegetarian dish (they also offer it with steak). It is served with a sizable portion of excellent rice. The beef koobideh skewer was served on a slice of flatbread and was absolutely stunning. Perfect texture and flavor. I followed up with the dessert sampler and a cup of Persian black tea. The sampler features a powdered sugar nougat with pistachio, raisin cookies, baklava, and a scoop of ice cream. Nicholas mentioned that it's good to start with the powdered sugar nougat and he was correct. Nice chew to it, really enjoyed finding the pistachios in it. The raisin cookies were perfect dipped in the tea and ice cream. The baklava was crisp, buttery, and hit the right level of sweetness. The ice cream was one of the better flavors I've had in a while. Nuanced and hitting with quality pistachios. While it's a bit over 30 minutes from my house, I'll be back and I'll be recommending it to others!

They tick all the boxes. Great customer service, friendly staff, delicious food and choices. My only preference is that swarma is shaven thin sliced meat. Our steak swarma wrap had to much chunks to get a clean bite. It got messy to try to chew off the bite.

Different from the same old. So glad we found this Persian gem. My wife and I ordered 2 different platters. She really like the NY Strip, she said it was overcooked but still tender. I imagine she'll try to specify a temperature next time. The chicken was delicious. The rice was tasty. The plating was beautiful. The green sauce was very tasty. I tend to complain about a lack of flavor. But here, I have zero complaints. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely return. The 10% Yelp coupon wasn't recognized by 3 of the staff and was not honored. They stated they had never seen it before. Still, everyone was super nice. I believe the dad is the cook, the mom is a waitress, and the son was our waiter as well. Super nice family. Definitely 5 stars.

Good afternoon folks. I must say I highly recommend this place. I just happened to stumble upon this place . I figured I give it a shot and I'm glad I did. Ambience is nice and relaxing. Food is wonderfully tasty and fresh. Your taste buds will thank you. The Service was great Jubilee went above and beyond to provide a Welcoming atmosphere. My wife was ready to move in. Go and support this local family business . You will not regret it.

I am so excited to find this restaurant. It is owned and operated by a lovely family. The food is amazing and large portions . Service is great. Definitely worth giving Persian food a try if you haven't had it.

Upon navigating a somewhat elusive address, attributable in part to my GPS's unreliability, I entered an establishment of modest proportions that exuded an air of snug intimacy. Accompanied by my parents and a discerningly selective grandmother, whose preferences are notably exacting, I drew upon a wealth of prior experiences in Turkish and comparable dining venues. A pivotal query, emblematic of many a culinary enthusiast's pursuit, was promptly broached: the availability of libations. The response, while promising, hinted at ongoing bureaucratic negotiations for a liquor license yet to be ratified. Emanating an aesthetic allure, the venue's spatial arrangement bore a semblance of cohesiveness, albeit with an inclination toward proximity at the fore. Embracing an ethos of simplicity and candor, the menus engendered facile navigation, a trait conducive to a judicious selection process. My personal inclination led me to embrace the flat Persian bread accompanied by an array of dips. A dichotomy of flavors was extant within the dips: one reminiscent of tzatziki, and another, more piquant rendition, characterized by an assuaging coolness. The bread itself, imbued with a toastiness, yielded to swift consumption. The pièce de résistance manifested as the entrée, a duet comprising chicken kebab and minced chicken variations (regrettably, their specific appellations have eluded my memory). Each entrée materialized in tandem with an accoutrement of a diminutive salad, complemented by a meticulously seasoned pilaf and a continuation of the dip tableau. The sumptuousness of the repast proved indisputable, with each constituent attesting to a profusion of flavors executed with culinary finesse. The chicken, tender and bathed in harmonious seasonings, bore witness to impeccable preparation. The rice pilaf, an exemplar of culinary mastery, emanated a fluffiness that converged with an impeccably nuanced seasoning profile. If one were to assert a shortcoming, it would lie with the salad, which, while not incontestably remarkable, managed to evoke a distinctive allure. Yet, the zenith of the gastronomic odyssey transpired in the realm of desserts, compelling a visitation for this singular delight alone. A platter presented itself, bearing the crowning jewel of the culinary endeavor: Gaz. This ethereal confection, enveloped in the velvety embrace of nougat, was punctuated by the lavish embrace of pistachios and an ephemeral dusting of powdered sugar. Paralleling this was the indomitable quest of my grandmother, a perennial devotee of frozen desserts, leading her to a selection of pistachio-infused ice cream interwoven with the subtleties of rose. Concomitantly, my mother's predilection found fulfillment in a slice of baklava. Albeit the trifecta commanded universal admiration, it is the pistachio and rose ice cream that resounded most deeply, an equilibrium of flavors that deftly navigated between invigorating freshness and measured sweetness. In summation, the gastronomic sojourn through this Persian enclave proffers a tapestry of culinary delights. While nuances in execution persist, exemplified most notably by the salad's departure from sublimity, the overarching impression is one of culinary proficiency and sensorial delight. The gastronomic pinnacles lay in the impeccable preparation of chicken-based entrees and, most memorably, the ethereal pistachio and rose ice cream, a tour de force that warrants pilgrimage in its own right. As the establishment awaits the finality of its libation licensure, one is poised to anticipate an even more immersive culinary symphony.

We had a wonderful dinner here recently after a long day at Legoland. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and they were very accommodating of our family's food allergy, checking several times to make sure everything we ordered was safe. I love Persian food, but it had been some time since I went to a Persian restaurant, so I wanted everything on the menu. Eventually, I decided on a platter with chicken joojeh and chicken koobideh kabob. The latter is usually my favorite dish at Persian restaurants, but while both were good, the chicken joojeh here somehow surpassed it. It was so juicy and flavorful, cooked perfectly. The dish came with lavash bread (which we had also shared as an appetizer, but here it soaked up all the tasty flavors of the grilled chicken), rice, grilled vegetables, salad, and your choice of sauce (went with green, it was fantastic). The salad on the plate was excellent on its own and definitely not an afterthought; I really enjoyed that. My husband got the zereshk polo morgh, which had a similar chicken and rice, but a different side salad that was just as refreshing. Looking forward to making a return trip the next time we're in the area!

Don't sleep on this culinary gem. Fresh, flavorful food that will nourish your soul - which is what Nooshe Jan translates to - a Persian "bon appetit". We enjoyed the shawarma, Khoresh Gheimeh (Persian lentil stew) and baghali polo rice; but there is no doubt that everything on the menu would be expertly cooked, prepared and presented. A family business, they have created an elegant space in an otherwise common strip mall. Their son is a terrific host and attentive server. Dessert is a must! Get the homemade ice cream with vanilla, pistachio, saffron and rose water - it is a revelation!

The restaurant is family owned and operated. The owner came out and introduced himself to us, he is a very nice young man who has a passion for cooking and the restaurant business. The restaurant is very modern and clean. The food was proportioned properly and flavory. Im very happy this new place has opened up in Monroe:). Looking forward to going back and trying the other stuff of the menu.
